South
Beach is all about the nightlife, whether you love the clubs, or if you
love people-watching, there is no place on earth quite like the art deco
streets of South Beach in Miami.
South
Beach has a nightlife that never quits with most clubs open until 5am.
After 5am, the clubs move to afterhours venues in Downtown Miami, most
of which have license to run 24 hours.
There
are two main stretches on South Beach that are important to visit. One
of the main stretches is called Washington Ave. which houses many popular
clubs and upscale stores. Ocean Drive is great for deco hotels, sidewalk
cafes and open-air restaurants. You can book a surprisingly affordable
and hospitable room into a beautiful art deco hotel within walking distance
of all the best clubs. Go east a block and you are on the beach, a strip
where the hot locals are often lazily crossing in front of countless restaurants
and sidewalk cafes in their rollerblades as the latin beats set the air
with a certain unmistakable energy.
In
addition to a deliciously overindulgent nightlife, South
Beach also has quite the daylife! South Beach has some of the most popular
beaches with some of the hottest people you will ever see anywhere. The
beach is silhouetted by the art deco skyline by day and glows brilliantly
in the neon at night under the stars.
