Hotel Squeeze
Ft. Lauderdale hosts the world's largest boat show during the last week of October which is unfortunately in direct conflict with our Halloween event. This causes a major squeeze with hotel availability and hotel owners tend to jack up their prices to take advantage of this situation. For this reason, we recommend that you book your room well in advance.
We cannot stress this enough: If you wait until the last minute, you will not be able to book a room anywhere.
Please contact the individual hotels for information about their cancellation policies, but it is our understanding that most area hotels have very liberal cancellation policies, most of them at least 48 hours in advance without any penalty. It is better to reserve your room and cancel if you cannot make it than to get shut out by waiting until the last minute.
